Damian Denzell Robinson, a 29-year-old registered sex offender, surrendered to authorities on April 22, 2026.

His surrender followed an intensive manhunt launched by the Los Angeles Police Department after a series of violent incidents.

Investigators linked Robinson to six separate sexual assaults that occurred within a six-hour timeframe on April 19.

The crime spree reportedly began around 9:10 a.m. in the North Hills neighborhood.

During this initial encounter, Robinson allegedly targeted an elderly woman in a public setting.

Less than an hour later, a similar attempt was reported in Northridge involving another older victim.

In that instance, the woman successfully fought back, causing the suspect to flee the scene.

The attacks continued throughout the morning as Robinson moved through various locations in the San Fernando Valley.

A third victim reported being grabbed from behind and assaulted while the suspect allegedly recorded the incident on a mobile device.

Further reports emerged from Winnetka, where Robinson allegedly targeted women in commercial and public spaces.

One incident took place inside a local grocery store, while another occurred within a public restroom facility.

In the restroom incident, the suspect reportedly used his phone to record a woman from beneath a stall door.

Victims described the encounters as sudden and terrifying, noting that they occurred in broad daylight.

One victim shared her experience with local media, expressing a profound sense of violation following the encounter at a Vallarta supermarket.

Law enforcement officials utilized surveillance footage from multiple businesses to identify Robinson as the primary suspect.

Robinson was already known to the justice system due to prior convictions for lewd conduct and indecent exposure.

These previous offenses required him to maintain status as a registered sex offender within the state of California.

He now faces several counts of felony sexual battery along with additional sex-related charges.

The Los Angeles Police Department believes there may be more victims who have not yet come forward to report similar interactions.

Community members have expressed heightened concern regarding the monitoring of registered offenders following this rapid series of attacks.

Detectives are urging anyone with information or potential additional evidence to contact the local precinct immediately.

The case remains under active investigation as prosecutors prepare the formal legal filings against Robinson.
