Errol Musk, the 79-year-old father of tech giant Elon Musk, has officially set social media on fire by claiming that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is still alive and well.

Speaking on Russian state television on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Errol called the idea of Epstein’s 2019 prison death "absurd" and "ridiculous."

Despite the official suicide ruling by New York examiners, Errol doubled down on conspiracy theories, telling a groaning studio audience that Epstein was "swapped out" the night he supposedly died.

He cited sleeping guards and "broken" cameras as proof that the high-profile criminal escaped the system.

But the real story might be where Errol is saying this.

The elder Musk is currently on a high-stakes two-week trip to Russia, where he says he is working on "research projects" with local scientists.

He hasn't been shy about his admiration for the Kremlin, either, stating his family is "in awe" of Vladimir Putin.

Just this past weekend, Errol was spotted at a Moscow cathedral for Russian Orthodox Easter, sitting remarkably close to Putin himself.

The service took place under a cloud of controversy, as a 32-hour ceasefire in the ongoing war was reportedly shattered by hundreds of Russian violations.

While Putin praised his "heroes" at the altar, Ukraine reported nearly 470 breaches of the truce.

Errol’s "tell-all" tour is creating a massive headache for his famous son.

Between praising the Russian President and blaming Elon for "falling out" with Donald Trump, Errol is quickly becoming the ultimate wildcard in international politics.

Whether he's looking for "gravity research" or just stirring the pot, one thing is certain: the Musk name is now deeply entangled with the Kremlin.
