A violent confrontation at a West Palm Beach Taco Bell resulted in the arrest of a 20-year-old employee following a dispute over a beverage. D’Mari Jy’Quan Patterson was taken into custody after allegedly firing a weapon at three female customers inside the restaurant.

The incident reportedly began when the three women entered the establishment and requested water cups. One of the customers allegedly attempted to fill her cup with soda instead of water, prompting an immediate and aggressive reaction from the staff member.

Witnesses and video evidence indicate that Patterson began shouting at the group as the situation escalated rapidly. Authorities stated that the sound of a firearm being racked was audible on recordings captured by bystanders just moments before shots were fired.
