The New York City Police Department is currently investigating a harrowing abduction attempt that took place in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Queens.
Authorities report that a 23-year-old woman was targeted during the busy evening commute last week.
The incident began near the intersection of 46th Street and Queens Boulevard at approximately 5:30 p.m. on April 20.
According to police statements, an unidentified man approached the victim and initiated an unsolicited conversation.

Notably, the man was observed wearing white wired headphones while navigating the station turnstiles.
