Perv grabbed woman, carried her into NYC subway station in horrifying rush-hour attack

The New York City Police Department is currently investigating a harrowing abduction attempt that took place in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Queens.

Authorities report that a 23-year-old woman was targeted during the busy evening commute last week.

The incident began near the intersection of 46th Street and Queens Boulevard at approximately 5:30 p.m. on April 20.

According to police statements, an unidentified man approached the victim and initiated an unsolicited conversation.

When the woman attempted to disengage and walk away from the individual, he reportedly blocked her path.

The situation escalated quickly when the suspect physically grabbed the victim and carried her toward the entrance of the 46th Street-Bliss Street subway station.

The victim was able to secure her release only after threatening to contact law enforcement.

Upon being confronted with the prospect of police involvement, the suspect released the woman and fled the scene on foot.

Investigators have since released surveillance imagery to assist in identifying the individual.

The suspect is described as a lanky male who was seen wearing a black leather jacket, black trousers, and black sneakers at the time of the encounter.

Notably, the man was observed wearing white wired headphones while navigating the station turnstiles.

Police are urging the public to examine these images closely to help bring the perpetrator to justice.
