Nancy Iskander the mother of two young boys killed in a 2020 Westlake Village crash has revealed a shocking and offensive request from convicted socialite Rebecca Grossman.

Grossman is currently serving a 15 year to life sentence for the hit and run deaths of Jacob and Mark Iskander but she recently sent a message asking the mother to visit her in prison.

According to Iskander the letter requested that she witness the difficulty of life behind bars and shockingly referred to Grossman herself as a victim in the situation.

Nancy Iskander expressed her disbelief on social media stating that she is still trying to process how someone could make such a request after taking the lives of her children.

The contact occurred as a wrongful death civil trial against Grossman began this week and follows a previous 10,000 dollar fine Grossman received for trying to influence the case from prison.

Jacob Iskander who was 8 and his brother Mark who was 11 were struck while crossing a street in a marked crosswalk with their family.

In her response to the letter Iskander wrote that she would trade places with Grossman in a heartbeat if it meant her boys could be alive today.

She stated that she would live in any prison cell under any conditions for the rest of her life just to see her sons laughing and growing up again.

Grossman was convicted in 2024 of second degree murder and vehicular manslaughter in a case that has gripped the region for years.

The court had previously warned Grossman against contacting the victims’ family while legal matters remained pending.
