A Texas mother who publicly claimed she was "blindsided" by her husband’s arrest is now behind bars herself.

Ashley Ketcherside was arrested Wednesday on racketeering charges after investigators linked her to a massive prostitution ring allegedly operating out of her family home for over a decade.

The scandal has rocked the small town of Godley, Texas, as court documents reveal the clientele included local police officers and their spouses.

While Michael Ketcherside was the first to be nabbed on April 8, 2026, authorities now believe Ashley wasn't just a bystander; she was allegedly coaching women and charging $1,000 an hour for her own X-rated services.

The investigation took a dark turn when former Godley Police Chief Matthew Cantrell and officer Solomon Omotoya were implicated.

According to police, the group didn't just stop at prostitution.

They reportedly used the ring to gather "dirt" on political adversaries, including members of the Godley City Council and the local school board.

Ashley’s involvement is particularly shocking to the community given her active public life.

In 2023, she was removed from a Godley ISD committee that helped decide the district’s sex education curriculum after her prior convictions surfaced.

Despite this, she continued to volunteer for city organizations while allegedly maintaining active advertisements on escort websites.

Currently, Ashley Ketcherside is being held on a $200,000 bond.

Her husband, Michael, faces a much steeper $450,000 bond on charges of racketeering and continuous promotion of prostitution.

As the corruption probe expands, more names from the local police force may soon find themselves on the wrong side of the law.
