Oxnard Police are currently hunting for a suspect who stabbed two people right outside a grocery store on Saturday night.

The attack happened around 9:15 p.m. in front of the Superior Grocers located on North Ventura Road.

Officers arrived at the scene to find two victims bleeding on the pavement from multiple stab wounds.

The victims were rushed to a local hospital where they are currently listed in stable condition.

Medical staff have indicated that the injuries sustained by both victims do not appear to be life threatening.

The attacker fled the scene before police arrived and remains at large as of Tuesday morning.

Oxnard PD has not yet released a formal description of the suspect or a potential motive for the violent assault.

Detectives are currently combing through surveillance footage from Superior Grocers and surrounding businesses to identify the assailant.

This incident has sparked fresh concerns among residents regarding the safety of late night shopping in the city.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area or saw anything suspicious to contact the Oxnard Police Department immediately.

Does this make you think twice about late night grocery runs or is this just another random act of violence in the city?
