The Ventura Cosimo Crushers are making history as the first-ever softball team from Ventura to represent Southern California at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.

Heading to Minnesota’s Twin Cities from June 20–26, 2026, they are currently the only team from our area to earn a spot at this massive national event.

These athletes have been training hard to represent the 805 on the biggest stage in the country, showcasing the true power of inclusion and local talent.

They will join a delegation of 80 members from Team Southern California, competing alongside 3,000 athletes from all 50 states.

The softball events are set to take place at Airport Park at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.
