Officials at Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish, Washington, are investigating a classroom incident where a teacher reportedly displayed explicit images during a PowerPoint presentation. The event, which occurred this past Wednesday, has prompted a formal communication from the school administration to the parents and guardians of the student body.

According to a letter issued by Principal Alicia Mitchell, the images were shared inadvertently while the unidentified teacher was presenting material to the class. The content in question reportedly included four explicit images of a woman’s bare breasts. Principal Mitchell characterized the incident as a "disturbing blunder" and clarified that the exposure of such material was accidental.

The principal’s letter emphasized that the school is taking the matter seriously. "We want to make you aware of an incident in a classroom where inappropriate images were inadvertently shared with the students," Mitchell stated in the correspondence. She further noted that the administration is aware that the images have since been circulated among the student body and potentially beyond the immediate classroom environment. The school encouraged parents to discuss the incident with their children if they felt it was necessary.

The school administration has stated that the incident is currently under investigation. Mitchell noted that the display of such content does not align with the school’s established expectations for classroom materials or professional conduct. At this time, the school has not released the name of the teacher involved, nor have they confirmed whether the educator has been placed on administrative leave or faced other disciplinary actions.

Local reports, including details shared by Seattle-area radio host Jason Rantz, suggest that the images appeared as small preview-style thumbnails within a folder view on one of the presentation slides. It remains unclear whether the images featured the teacher or another individual. The Snohomish School District has not provided further details regarding the specific nature of the presentation or the teacher's current employment status as the internal probe continues.
