A 24-year-old Florida woman is facing 26 felony counts after a disturbing investigation uncovered evidence of animal cruelty and the possession of child pornography involving infants.
Vallen Ada Marie Hrabb was arrested after authorities discovered multiple videos on her devices that she admitted to filming out of boredom.
During police questioning, Hrabb reportedly confessed to creating between five and seven videos of herself engaging in sexual acts with her own dog, stating that she began the practice after being introduced to it by a friend.
The investigation escalated when detectives also found graphic child pornography involving infants on the same hardware used to record and share the animal abuse videos.
Hrabb allegedly admitted that she not only filmed the acts but also shared the footage with others online, claiming she continued the behavior because she liked it.
Despite the severity and the number of felony charges which include 13 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material and multiple counts of animal cruelty, Hrabb was released from custody after posting a 65,000 dollar bond.
Local residents and animal rights advocates have expressed outrage over her release, questioning the bond amount given the nature of the crimes and the potential danger to the community.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is continuing to investigate whether Hrabb was part of a larger network of individuals sharing similar illegal content.
As part of her release conditions, Hrabb is reportedly barred from having contact with any animals or unsupervised access to the internet while awaiting trial.
The case has become a flashpoint for discussions on bond reform in Florida, with many calling for stricter pretrial detention for cases involving the exploitation of children and animals.
