Illinois Mom Accused Of Killing Kids’ Dad Then Shooting His Parents In Triple Murder Case

A 30 year old Illinois mother is facing life in prison after prosecutors say she carried out a shocking triple murder involving the father of her children and his parents.
Authorities say Jenna Strouble was arrested after the March 22 killings of Jacob Lambert, 32, and his parents Patrick Forde, 55, and Stacy Forde, 54. Investigators described the case as a calculated attack that unfolded across two crime scenes.
According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, Strouble allegedly lured Lambert into her car under the pretense of spending time together.
Court documents claim she surprised him with a back massage while he lay face down in the passenger seat.
Investigators say the massage lasted about 20 minutes before she allegedly pulled out a Glock 19 handgun fitted with a suppressor and held it to the back of his head.
Authorities claim she kept the weapon there for several minutes before firing at point blank range.
Police say she then drove to Lambert’s parents’ home in Crete Township.
When Patrick Forde answered the door, prosecutors allege Strouble fired 17 shots, killing him.
Authorities say Stacy Forde was shot multiple times moments later as she came downstairs after hearing the disturbance.
Investigators say Strouble later told deputies she was upset about how Lambert treated their children and described his parents as controlling, according to reports citing court records.
After the shootings, police say she fled to St. John, Indiana, where she was later arrested.
Officers reported recovering the firearm believed to be used in the killings.
Strouble now faces nine counts of first degree murder. Prosecutors say she could spend the rest of her life in prison if convicted.
Authorities have not released further details about possible motives as the case moves through the court system.
The children shared by Strouble and Lambert were not reported injured.
The case has stunned the local community and adds to ongoing concerns about domestic disputes escalating into deadly violence.
