Plane Passenger ‘horrified’ As Stranger Sticks Their Bare Feet Through Seat Gap

Pack your sanitizer and hold your breath.

A UK influencer couple has gone viral after documenting a "feral" mid-air encounter that is turning stomachs across the internet.

While flying from Chiang Mai to Surat Thani on March 22, Jess Jones and her partner Mosey were treated to an unwanted view: a stranger's bare, "sockless trotters" poking directly into their personal space.

The couple, who run the popular food and travel account @moseyandjesseats, were mid-flight during a backpacking tour of Thailand when the toes appeared.

The offending passenger was reportedly lying across a row of seats and decided the gap between the cabin wall and the seat in front was the perfect place to park her feet, placing them inches away from the couple's tray table.

"We were just disgusted," Jess told news outlets, noting that the "visually gross" intrusion felt like something out of a horror film.

Her partner, Mosey, admitted he considered tickling the feet to force a retreat but held back to avoid a 30,000-foot confrontation.

The incident has reignited a fierce debate over airplane etiquette and basic hygiene.

Because tray tables are used for eating, the influencers argued that such "space invasions" should be strictly banned.

The couple eventually decided to stay quiet but used the moment as a grim reminder to followers: always use anti-bacterial wipes on every surface before you touch it.

This "pedi crime" is just the latest in a string of bad traveler behavior.

Earlier this week, a first-class passenger was also shamed on Reddit for attempting to use a neighbor’s armrest as a footrest.

As air travel returns to full capacity in 2026, it seems some passengers have completely forgotten how to behave in public.
