Simi Valley Man Arrested After Allegedly Arranging Meeting With Minor for Sex
Police say a 47 year old man from West Hills showed up at a Simi Valley home expecting to meet a 15 year old girl, but was instead arrested by detectives.
A 47 year old man, identified as Soroush Esmaeilisikaroodi of West Hills, was arrested in Simi Valley after allegedly arranging to meet someone he believed was a 15 year old girl for sexual purposes.
According to investigators, the suspect had been communicating online with what he thought was a teenage girl he met through a dating app. Police say the girl’s age was made clear during the conversation, but the suspect allegedly continued messaging her and later agreed to meet in person at a home on Caballero Street.
When he arrived at the location, Simi Valley Police officers were waiting and took him into custody.
