Teacher Accused Of Creepy Obsession With Student Shows Tattoo And Faces Charges

A high school music teacher in Florida is facing multiple charges after a student reported a series of alleged inappropriate interactions.

Rudolph Infante, 53, a teacher at Miami Southridge Senior High School, was arrested following an investigation into claims made by a teenage student regarding his conduct during and outside of lessons.

According to an arrest report, the teacher began working with the student in August 2025, providing piano instruction. Over time, the student told investigators that she experienced unwanted physical contact, including hugs and touching that made her uncomfortable.

Authorities say the student also described an incident in which Infante allegedly showed her two heart tattoos on his ribcage, explaining that they symbolized himself and the student.

In another allegation outlined in court documents, the student said the teacher pulled her onto his lap and kissed her on the chest area. She told investigators she felt afraid and found it difficult to reject his behavior.

The report further states that Infante allegedly made personal comments about the student and, at one point, entered his phone number into her device without permission.

The student reported the situation to school officials in February 2026, which led to a formal investigation and subsequent arrest.

Infante has been charged with four counts of battery and one count related to offenses involving an authority figure and a student. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Following a court appearance, a judge ordered that he be placed under house arrest with an ankle monitor. He is also prohibited from contacting the student or entering school premises.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools confirmed that it has initiated proceedings to terminate his employment.

The case remains under investigation, and no further details about the student have been publicly released.
