President Donald Trump is drawing attention after posting a fiery message about Rudy Giuliani, calling the former New York City mayor a “True Warrior” while blaming political opponents for his current health crisis.

In a post shared on Truth Social, Trump praised Giuliani, 81, as one of the greatest mayors in New York City history. He also claimed that Democrats and the “radical left” treated Giuliani so harshly that it contributed to his current condition.

Giuliani is currently hospitalized in Florida and reported to be in critical but stable condition, according to his spokesperson. Officials have not publicly confirmed the exact cause of his hospitalization.

Just days before being admitted, Giuliani was still active, hosting episodes of his online show. He had also dealt with health and legal pressures in recent years, including recovery from a late 2025 car accident.

Trump’s post quickly sparked backlash online, with critics accusing him of politicizing a serious medical situation.

Many responses pointed to Giuliani’s legal troubles following the 2020 election, including his disbarment, a $148 million defamation judgment, and ongoing financial issues tied to legal fees and bankruptcy filings.

Supporters, however, echoed Trump’s message, calling Giuliani a loyal ally who has faced years of political and legal pressure.

Giuliani, once celebrated for his leadership after the September 11 attacks, has remained a polarizing figure in recent years, especially due to his role in post-election legal battles.

Now, as he remains hospitalized, the focus is split between concern for his health and renewed political debate over his legacy and treatment.
