YouTube Star IShowSpeed to Star in New Anime Series from Big Shot Pictures


YouTube sensation IShowSpeed is set to lend his voice and persona to an upcoming anime-style series from Big Shot Pictures, marking one of his first narrative-driven projects.
The series will be written by Matt Owens, known for his work as co-showrunner on Netflix’s hit One Piece, and produced alongside Brian Robbins.
Filmmaker Harmony Korine is also attached as a producer.
IShowSpeed, 21, who has over 52 million subscribers on YouTube, is best known for his high-energy IRL streams, gaming content, sports videos, and viral moments.
He won Streamer of the Year at the 2024 and 2025 Streamer Awards.
Speaking about the project, IShowSpeed said, “I’ve always loved anime, so being able to create something like this is a dream come true for me… I can’t wait for my fans around the world to see what we’re building together.”
Big Shot Pictures, launched by former Paramount Pictures co-CEO Brian Robbins, has a first-look theatrical distribution deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment and is also developing properties like Eloise at the Plaza across film, TV, and consumer products.
This anime project represents Big Shot’s first venture into narrative animation featuring a globally recognized internet personality, blending gaming culture, anime storytelling, and viral digital talent.
