A 52-year-old Oxnard motorcyclist is fighting for his life in critical condition following a severe early-morning crash along Ventura Road on Friday.
At approximately 6:23 a.m. on July 24, 2026, Oxnard Police officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to reports of a major broadside collision at the intersection of Ventura Road and Doris Avenue. Responding units arrived to find a 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King and a 2024 Nissan Altima with heavy damage blocking the middle of the intersection.

The driver made a left turn at the intersection of Doris Avenue. The motorcyclist broadsided the Nissan and was ejected from his motorcycle."
