A tragic Sunday afternoon traffic collision has turned fatal after a veteran Oxnard motorcyclist passed away from severe injuries sustained during an intersection crash.
On July 19, 2026, at approximately 4:36 p.m., Oxnard Police officers alongside emergency medical personnel rushed to the intersection of Channel Islands Boulevard and Manzanita Drive following multiple reports of a major vehicle-versus-motorcycle collision. Upon arrival, patrol officers found a 2006 Harley-Davidson downed in the roadway alongside a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, with the rider lying heavily injured near both vehicles.
