ANGRY MAN CONFRONTS BAR OWNER FOR CHANGING BAD BUNNY’S PERFORMANCE

A video has exploded across social media showing a heated confrontation at The Zoo Club (also known as The Zoo Sports Club) in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The footage captures a customer berating the bar manager after all screens were switched from the official NBC broadcast to TPUSA’s "All-American" alternative just as Bad Bunny was set to perform.

In the clip, the customer accuses the manager of "bigotry" and states he is recording the moment for the world to see. The manager is seen looking directly into the camera and simply replying, "Good," before walking away.

Two Shows, Two Americas?

The clash at the bar mirrors a wider national divide over the two simultaneous performances:

  • Bad Bunny’s Record-Breaker: Despite the boycotts, Bad Bunny’s all-Spanish set was a juggernaut, drawing a record-breaking 135.4 million viewers. His performance was a cinematic tribute to Puerto Rico, featuring a mock wedding, a surprise appearance by Lady Gaga, and political nods to the island's infrastructure struggles.
  • The TPUSA Alternative: Pitching itself as an "agenda-free" celebration of faith and freedom, the TPUSA show was headlined by Kid Rock and country stars like Brantley Gilbert. While official viewership numbers are still being debated, TPUSA claims over 20 million views across social platforms like YouTube and Rumble, though concurrent live viewers peaked at roughly 6.1 million.

The Fallout for The Zoo Club

The St. Petersburg bar is currently caught in a "review-bombing" crossfire.

  • The Backlash: One-star reviews on Yelp and Google accuse the management of being "MAGA and dumb as soap," with patrons claiming they paid for a Super Bowl experience only to have the biggest moment of the night "ruined" by a political agenda.
  • The Support: On the flip side, conservative supporters are flooding the bar with five-star reviews, praising the owner for taking a "stand for American values" and promising to frequent the establishment in the future.

This incident follows a trend seen in Nashville and other conservative hubs, where bar owners—including Kid Rock himself at his Big Ass Honky Tonk—publicly announced they would skip the official halftime show in favor of the TPUSA broadcast.
