WHAT HAPPENED
On Sunday night, July 12, a huge fire broke out at a music bar in Bangkok's Chatuchak district.
Witnesses saw massive flames shoot out of the front door of the concrete building. Heavy smoke filled the air as people ran for their lives.
At least 27 people died, mostly from breathing in toxic smoke. More than 60 others were hurt. Many victims were found trapped near bathrooms and blocked escape doors.
