BRITISH WOMAN SH*T DEAD BY TEXAN FATHER AFTER ARGUMENT OVER TRUMP

A harrowing UK inquest has revealed the final moments of 23-year-old Lucy Harrison, a fashion buyer from Cheshire who was shot dead by her father in Texas following a heated political dispute. The hearing, which concluded on February 10, 2026, detailed how a family holiday turned into a nightmare just hours before Lucy was scheduled to fly home.

The Fatal Argument

Lucy and her boyfriend, Sam Littler, were staying with her father, Kris Harrison, in Prosper, Texas, in January 2025.

According to Littler’s testimony, the morning of January 10, 2025, was marked by a "big argument" regarding Donald Trump, who was preparing for his second inauguration.

The dispute became deeply personal when Lucy asked her father how he would feel if she were sexually assaulted.

Littler testified that Kris Harrison replied it "would not upset him that much" because he had two other daughters living with him. This comment left Lucy "quite upset" and in tears.

15 Seconds of Silence

Roughly 30 minutes before the couple was set to leave for the airport, the inquest heard that Kris Harrison took Lucy by the hand and led her into his ground-floor bedroom. Littler remained in the kitchen, only to hear a "loud bang" approximately 15 seconds later.

Upon running into the room, Littler found Lucy lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the chest. Her father was reportedly screaming "nonsense" and "screaming for his wife." Lucy was pronounced dead shortly after, the victim of a single shot from a Glock 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

A Relapse and a "Sense of Security"

The inquest revealed several disturbing factors regarding Kris Harrison’s state of mind:

  • Alcohol Use: Harrison, who had a history of alcohol addiction, admitted in a statement that he had relapsed that day, consuming about 500ml of white wine because he felt "emotional" about Lucy leaving. Police noted the smell of alcohol on his breath at the scene.
  • The Gun: Harrison claimed he took Lucy into the bedroom to show her the firearm, which he kept for a "sense of security." He stated the gun discharged as he lifted it, though he could not recall if his finger was on the trigger.
  • Lack of Charges: While Prosper Police investigated the death as manslaughter, a Collin County grand jury declined to indict him, meaning he faced no criminal charges in the United States.

"A Force of Life"

Lucy’s mother, Jane Coates, described her daughter as a "real force of life" and a "wonderful contradiction" who loved travel but also cherished quiet nights at home.

She worked as a fashion buyer for the brand Boohoo and was known for being fierce, fearless, and unashamedly herself.

The coroner, Jacqueline Devonish, noted that while the U.S. legal system had declined to prosecute, the inquest served as a vital fact-finding mission to provide the family with the clarity they had been denied.
