Congressman Ro Khanna Names Six Redacted "Co-Conspirators" in Epstein Files

In a major escalation of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) took to the House floor today, February 10, 2026, to publicly name six powerful men whose identities the Department of Justice (DOJ) had kept hidden behind redactions.

The disclosure follows a high-stakes, two-hour session on Monday where Khanna and Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) reviewed "unredacted" files at a secure DOJ reading room.

Khanna used the Speech and Debate Clause of the U.S. Constitution to reveal the names, a legal protection that shields lawmakers from defamation lawsuits for statements made during official congressional business.

The Six "Unmasked" Names

Khanna identified the following individuals as being redacted from the public files without clear legal justification:

  • Leslie "Les" Wexner: The billionaire founder of Victoria’s Secret. Khanna revealed that an internal FBI memo within the files explicitly labeled Wexner a "co-conspirator" in the Epstein investigation, despite the fact that he has never been charged with a crime.
  • Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem: The billionaire CEO of Dubai Ports World. The files reportedly contain an email from Epstein to the Sultan titled "I loved the torture video," along with graphic messages from the Sultan in 2015 describing a sexual encounter as "the best sex I ever had."
  • Nicola Caputo: A prominent Italian politician and former member of the European Parliament.
  • Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, and Leonic Leonov: Three international figures whose specific connections to Epstein's network are now the focus of intense congressional scrutiny.

Accusations of an "Epstein Class" Cover-Up

During his speech, Khanna was scathingly critical of the DOJ’s compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

He noted that while he and Massie found these six names in just two hours of "digging," millions of pages remain heavily scrubbed.

"If we found six men that they were hiding in two hours, imagine how many men they are covering up for in those three million files," Khanna told his colleagues.

He accused the government of protecting what he calls the "Epstein Class"—a group of elite bankers, politicians, and billionaires who have avoided accountability for over a decade.

Khanna also highlighted a disturbing discovery: some files were reportedly "pre-scrubbed" by the FBI before even reaching the DOJ for review, suggesting an early effort to shield public figures from the transparency law.

Calls for Resignation and Next Steps

The fallout has already reached the highest levels of the current administration. Khanna and Senator Adam Schiff have officially called for the resignation of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

Newly unredacted documents show Lutnick remained in business with Epstein and even visited his private island in 2012, long after Epstein's 2008 conviction.

Lutnick admitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee today that he had lunch on the island with his family, despite previously claiming he spent "zero time" with the convicted sex offender.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is scheduled to testify before the House Judiciary Committee this Wednesday.

She is expected to face aggressive questioning regarding the "sloppy" and "nefarious" redactions identified by the lawmakers this week.
