According to police, the driver of a silver Mercedes collided with the e-bike rider in the middle of the intersection. The force of the collision left the rider seriously injured and prompted an emergency response.
The e-bike rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite efforts to save him, he later died from his injuries.
