Police in Miami arrested 27-year-old Naseline Timouche on June 6. They charged her with child neglect and child abuse.
Deputies went to the home to check on the child. They found a young girl with deep scars across her body. The girl told police her mother beat her with a metal pan, a spatula, and a wire cord.
The girl also said her mother left her alone overnight. She was not allowed to eat food in the house because it was kept for guests. Instead, she had to eat old food from the trash.
