Former Penthouse Pet Faces Felony Charges in Alleged Los Angeles Theft Scheme

Adva Lavie, a 27-year-old former Penthouse Pet, appeared in legal filings this week as Los Angeles prosecutors move forward with a multi-count felony case involving alleged thefts from wealthy residents.
Lavie, who was recognized as a Penthouse Pet in July 2023 and also uses the name Mia Ventura, is accused of orchestrating a scheme that targeted affluent individuals between 2023 and 2025.
According to investigators, Lavie utilized online dating applications to establish relationships with wealthy older men and occasionally younger women.
Prosecutors allege that she posed as a romantic interest or a travel companion to gain the trust of her targets.
This access reportedly allowed her entry into high-end residences in exclusive neighborhoods, including Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Westlake Village.
Once inside these homes, authorities claim Lavie stole a variety of valuable assets, ranging from large sums of cash and gold to high-end designer merchandise.
The legal proceedings against her include six felony charges: two counts of grand theft, two counts of burglary, and two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information.
While an initial charge of extortion was reportedly dropped by the prosecution, the remaining counts carry significant legal weight.
Lavie has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains out of custody while awaiting trial.
She is currently required to wear a GPS ankle monitor as a condition of her release and must maintain a strict distance from the alleged victims.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office stated they intend to prove Lavie exploited the trust built through online relationships to facilitate the alleged thefts.
New details regarding the investigation surfaced on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, following a report by the New York Post.
Lavie is scheduled for her next court appearance on April 6, 2026, at the Van Nuys courthouse.
The case highlights ongoing concerns regarding safety and verification within high-stakes online dating environments across the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
