Jasmine Crockett, the high-profile congresswoman known for her viral moments and "partisan warfare" style, is reportedly looking for a way out of D.C. and back into the courtroom.

Weeks after losing the Democratic Senate primary by a roughly 7 to 8 point margin, Crockett is apparently calling up law firms to explore job openings.

For Crockett, the defeat is a major career pivot.

Having given up her U.S. House seat to run for Senate, she will be out of office by January 2027.

Her campaign was shadowed by controversial past remarks regarding Latino voters and a heated online proxy war that highlighted deep racial divisions within the party.

As James Talarico prepares to face either John Cornyn or Ken Paxton in November, the "firebrand" of the Democratic party is dusting off her legal degree.
