MANORVILLE, N.Y., A 36-year-old Long Island man has been charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his 63-year-old mother, whose body was discovered in a wooded area earlier this month.
Curtis Trent Jr. was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into the disappearance and death of Kathleen Harrison Trent, a grandmother and security guard.
Police allege she was killed in late January and her body later dumped in Manorville.
