Moorpark residents are being invited to step behind the scenes of local law enforcement next month during the city’s annual National Night Out and community open house.
The Moorpark Police Department, in partnership with the California Highway Patrol (CHP), will host the public event on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. The gathering is scheduled to take place at the Moorpark Police Services Center, located at 610 Spring Road.
According to the official Ventura County Sheriff's Department Nixle Announcement, organizing agencies view this as a prime opportunity to bridge the gap between first responders and the public:
