Palm Beach airport signs are already changing to honor Donald Trump

The state is spending up to $5.50 million to rename the airport and change its code to DJT.

WHAT HAPPENED

Workers in Palm Beach are changing the exit signs on Interstate 95. Exit 69B is getting updated to point drivers toward "President Donald J. Trump International Airport."

This is the start of a major rebrand for the local airport. Florida lawmakers approved the shift, and Governor Ron DeSantis signed it into law.

The new name officially goes live on July 9, 2026. The airport code will officially change from PBI to DJT on August 18, 2026.
