School Safety Nightmare: Mom Goes Off at Simi Valley Council Meeting

Simi Valley, CA., A local mom is absolutely furious and let the City Council know all about it at their meeting tonight. LaRonda Warner, a homeowner who moved to this supposedly quiet town just three years ago, went to the microphone to talk about a crazy bad situation involving her 13-year-old daughter at a local school.

Ms. Warner explained that she brought her daughter to Simi Valley looking for a peaceful place to raise a kid. But things have turned into a total disaster since her daughter, who used to be homeschooled, started going to Sinaloa Middle School recently. The mom says her daughter has faced "multiple serious safety threats" in just the last few weeks. This is not the quiet town life she signed up for, and she is demanding action now.

💥 First Attack: A Full-On Ambush

The first big problem happened almost immediately, within the first three days of her daughter being at the school. Ms. Warner claims that 15 students tried to "jump her on campus and threaten her." And they weren't done. These students were actually waiting for her daughter after school to try and go after her again.

Ms. Warner was very clear. She called this a "target coordinated attempt to physically harm my daughter." This is a scary thought, especially since her daughter was brand new to the district and didn't know anyone. How could 15 kids decide to attack her so fast? The mom is basically saying this was a planned, scary attack on a new kid.

🤬 Second Incident: Cops and Curses Near the Principal

The trouble didn't stop there. Last week, it happened again. This time, about 10 students came up to her daughter on campus right after lunch. They started threatening her and using "foul language," basically telling her all the bad stuff they were going to do.

What makes this second incident even wilder? Ms. Warner said the assistant principal was nearby when it was all going down! This group of students was openly harassing her daughter with nasty talk, and it started in class earlier that day when a student used vulgar words toward her.

😡 A School's Lame Response

After the first time her daughter was surrounded by a mob of students, Ms. Warner talked to a principal. She was told that her daughter was "fine."

The mom is furious that the school didn't give her daughter the necessary "protection or follow-up care she deserved" after she reported the incidents. Telling a victim she's "fine" seems like a huge brush-off when she's facing serious threats of violence.

🛑 Time Runs Out, But the Warning Stays

Ms. Warner finished up her time by telling the Council she is "urgently seeking action to protect my daughter and ensure her safety, [and the] safety of all students within our school district."

She ran out of her three minutes for public comment while she was still talking about the second attack, but the message was loud and clear: this Simi Valley school has a major safety problem, and a new student is being targeted for violence. A mom moved here for a quiet life, and now she is begging the city to protect her child from mobs of students.

This whole mess has the town talking about how safe schools really are.
