VENTURA, Calif. — Halloween arrives a night early at Ventura Harbor Village, where the annual Seaside Trick or Treat runs today, Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m., with costumed witches paddling the harbor and a new night market on the lawn, according to Ventura Harbor Village.

Trick-or-Treat by the Sea
From 4 to 6 p.m., costumed kids can collect treats from participating Village shops, restaurants and Witches Night Market vendors, while supplies last.
Treat stops are marked by witch hats with green twirling hair. The 25 participating businesses include Andria's Seafood, Brophy Bros., Coastal Cone, Island Packers, The Greek, Treasure Cove and Hats Unlimited.
The Harbor advises families to arrive on time and start the rounds at 4 p.m. Kids and adults are encouraged to dress up, and families should bring their own treat bags; a limited number of extras will be available.
Witches on the Water, a Market on the Lawn
At 4 p.m., the 8th Annual Ventura Harbor Witches Paddle takes to the water, with costumed witches and warlocks gliding past the promenade on paddleboards, kayaks and other small craft.

New this year, a Witches Night Market takes over the waterfront lawn from 3 to 8 p.m. with themed vendors, and its vendors are also on the trick-or-treat route.
Between treat stops: DJ Bennett with spooky tunes, the Scarolers putting a Halloween twist on caroling, magic tricks, a seaside skeleton hunt, live professional pumpkin carving, complimentary crafts, and a Halloween hearse photo op with a Día de los Muertos display. A Thriller zombie dance is scheduled on the main lawn from 5:45 to 6 p.m.
Admission, Parking and the Weather
Admission is free. Parking at the Village is $1 per hour or $10 for an all-day pass, and the Dolphin Lot at Safe Harbor Ventura Isle, about a 5-minute walk away, is free, as are designated street spots along Spinnaker Drive.

Friday evening's forecast is mostly cloudy and dry in Ventura. Rain is expected Saturday, on Halloween.
