Special Ed Teacher Admits Sex with Two 16-Year-Old Students, Once with Both in Same Room: "I Made a Mistake"

A 22-year-old special education teacher at North High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, admitted to police that she had sex with two 16-year-old male students, including one encounter where both boys were present in her apartment at the same time.
Nadia Horn, who co-taught world studies while working in special education, faced questioning after school administrators reported a potential inappropriate relationship to the resource officer.
She confessed to multiple sexual encounters between January and March 2026, telling investigators she had intercourse with one boy three times, describing the acts as "everything sexual you can do with a person."
She also admitted to sex with the second boy and confirmed an incident in which she had both teens at her place simultaneously.
In that episode, she groped one boy before sending him out of the room, then proceeded with the other while the first remained nearby.
Horn provided wine to the students during the visits, bought one an iPhone 14, sent him "very revealing" Snapchat messages that she acknowledged could include nudes, and encouraged at least one to skip class to meet her.
Police believe multiple victims from the school are involved, all minors.
When confronted, Horn told officers, "I made a mistake." She claimed the encounters "felt mutual" and insisted she was not taking advantage of the boys despite her position of authority as their teacher.
She now faces five felony charges: second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16, two counts of child enticement, and two counts of sexual assault of a child by a school employee.
Conviction could bring up to 40 years in prison. Horn was arrested on March 25, 2026, posted $15,000 bond with strict conditions including no contact with anyone under 18 or the school, and was released.
Her next court appearance is set for May 20, 2026. The district suspended her without pay immediately.
The case has ignited fierce online backlash, with many slamming the soft "mistake" narrative for what amounts to statutory rape by a teacher in a clear power imbalance.
Critics point to a pattern of similar female educator cases where public outrage highlights perceived leniency compared to male perpetrators.
Featuring a collage of Horn's smiling professional photo beside her tearful mugshot in orange scrubs and an image of the school, has fueled the fire as the latest viral example of educator misconduct.
