Spider Man Style Thief Crashes Through Ceiling Steals 65K In Wild Heist

A real-life “Spider-Man” just pulled off a movie-style robbery and it’s as bizarre as it sounds.
In the early hours of March 23, a suspect wearing a Spider-Man mask broke into a cigar shop in Leduc, Alberta and walked away with a staggering $65,000 in cash and merchandise.
But it wasn’t just the costume that turned heads. It was the method.
According to police, the thief didn’t use the front door. Instead, they entered through a neighboring business, climbed into the ceiling, and crashed straight down into the store. A move straight out of a comic book.
Before making their escape, the suspect reportedly cut security camera lines, grabbed valuables, and slipped out the back door, leaving almost no trace behind.
The disguise? Not exactly Hollywood accurate.
While the mask matched Spider-Man, the rest of the outfit included a yellow jacket and gloves, creating what some are calling a “multiverse gone wrong” version of the superhero.
Authorities are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who remains at large.
And here’s the twist.
This isn’t even the first time someone has used a Spider-Man disguise for a crime. Similar cases have popped up in both Canada and the U.S., including a masked suspect stealing trading cards and another pulling off a bank robbery years ago.
Even J. Jonah Jameson might feel a little validated right now.
For now, police are piecing together the break-in, but one thing is clear. This wasn’t random. It was planned, precise, and pulled off with comic-level creativity.
