VENTURA, Calif. — In-person early voting expands across Ventura County on Saturday, October 24, 2026, when the first Vote Centers open for the November 3 general election, according to the Ventura County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters.
Early voting has been available at the Ventura County Government Center since October 5, according to the county's election calendar.
Eleven Centers, One in Nearly Every City, and 9-to-5 Hours
Eleven Vote Centers open on Saturday, October 24, 2026, roughly one in each city, with two in Oxnard, county elections officials said.
The centers are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, according to the Elections Division.
Forty-two additional locations open on Saturday, October 31, 2026, officials said.
Ventura County votes under the Voter's Choice Act, so there is no assigned polling place: any voter can cast a ballot at any Vote Center in the county, according to the Elections Division.
On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Vote Centers are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., officials said.

Official ballot drop boxes are open around the clock and close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Night, according to the Elections Division. Locations are listed at vote.venturacounty.gov.
Voters can track a returned ballot through the state's Where's My Ballot service at wheresmyballot.sos.ca.gov, the Elections Division said.
A Closed Registration Deadline, a Same-Day Option, and One Phone Number
The regular registration deadline passed on October 19, 2026, according to the county's calendar.
Conditional, same-day registration runs from October 20 through November 3: an eligible resident can register in person at a Vote Center and vote in the same visit, according to the Elections Division.
