A tragic incident has occurred aboard the Carnival Firenze as the ship was navigating its Catalina–Ensenada route. A 24-year-old woman reportedly fell to her death from the 14th deck early this morning, Monday, April 27, 2026.

According to passengers currently on board, the ship was met with a heavy law enforcement presence as it docked.

Witness accounts describe FBI agents and Sheriff’s deputies boarding the vessel, some reportedly with weapons drawn, as they secured the area and began their investigation.

At this time, it remains unclear whether the fall was accidental, intentional, or involved foul play.

The FBI typically holds jurisdiction over incidents involving American citizens in international waters, and agents are currently interviewing crew members and reviewing surveillance footage.

Carnival Cruise Line has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the specific details of the death, though they are reportedly cooperating fully with authorities.

This is a rapidly developing story.
