Is that missing Toyota key fob yours? Local mom Gina Marin is looking to save a neighbor a massive headache (and an expensive replacement bill) after her son spotted a set of lost keys on a busy downtown corner.
The keys were discovered at the intersection of Chestnut and Main Street in downtown Ventura. Gina shared the find on social media, noting that the set includes a Toyota key and an attached electronic fob.
In a move to keep the keys safe, Gina turned them into the Ventura Police Department’s lost and found at the station near Kohl's.
_"I just don’t want anyone to have to spend money if they don’t have to, because everything is so expensive," _Gina posted.
If you’ve been scouring your car or home for your Toyota keys, they are waiting for you at the VPD station.
